Which account does this right cover?
The EU right concerns a payment account with basic features: an account for deposits, withdrawals, receiving and making payments, and using a payment card. It does not automatically extend to savings, credit, or every other banking product.

بانک نباید درخواست حساب پایه را فقط به این دلیل رد کند که متقاضی در کشور دیگری از اتحادیه اروپا زندگی میکند. بااینحال، بعضی کشورها میتوانند برای درخواست برونمرزی اثبات علاقه واقعی بخواهند و قواعد مبارزه با پولشویی همچنان اعمال میشود.
Nationality and place of residence
A bank should not refuse a basic account solely because the applicant lives in another EU country. Some countries may require proof of a genuine interest for a cross-border application, and anti-money-laundering rules still apply.
اگر درخواست رد شد
نام دقیق محصولی که درخواست کردهاید، تاریخ درخواست، نسخه فرمها و پاسخ کتبی بانک را نگه دارید. سپس قواعد کشور محل بانک و مسیر شکایت داخلی یا حل اختلاف را بررسی کنید؛ نتیجه هر پرونده به قانون ملی و دلیل واقعی رد بستگی دارد.
If the application is refused
Keep the exact product name, application date, submitted documents, and the bank's written response. Then check the national implementation rules and the bank's complaint or dispute-resolution route; outcomes depend on local law and the actual reason for refusal.
